Bedrooms
CASA NOVA GIRONA BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS.
Casa Nova Girona has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 1 separate downstairs toilet, all well decorated and comfortable. Bed linen, plenty of towels and hairdryers are supplied; sheets and throws in the summer, duvets in the winter. Bedroom windows all have shutters and mosquito nets or screens.
All bedrooms have either or both ceiling and floor standing fans; central heating radiators for winter. Bedroom 5, top floor, has A/C, a fixed air conditioning unit.
BEDROOMS -
Bedroom 1 - First Floor. Sleeps 4+. Double bed and single bed in the main bedroom. Child bed in the dressing room. Room for a cot in the main bedroom area or dressing room. Single day bed in the bathroom. (The dressing room is situated between the bedroom and the bathroom with a shuttered window and a curtained doorway). (Child bed is 165cm in length).
Bedroom 2 - First Floor. Sleeps 3. Double bed and child bed. Room for a cot. (Child bed is 135cm in length, but can be extended to 170/206cm. Please ask in advance for it to be extended).
Bedroom 3 - First Floor. Sleeps 2. Double bed.
Bedroom 4 - First Floor. Sleeps 3. Bunk bed; double on bottom, single on top. Room for a cot.
Bedroom 5 - Second Floor. Sleeps 3. Double bed and single bed. Room for a cot. (Note: this bedroom has double doors to the front balcony with child gates. Not advisable for young children).
Additional beds - Fold down single bed for a child. Small double sofa bed on the first floor landing. Single day bed in bedroom 1's large bathroom.
Cots - We have three cots. One wooden rigid cot on the first floor landing ready to be moved into a bedroom, one travel cot ready for use in bedroom 1's dressing room, and a second travel cot if required. All linen supplied.
BATHROOMS -
Bedroom 1 - En suite bathroom; bath, walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2 - En suite bathroom; shower over the bath.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 - Shared shower room; between the bedrooms with connecting doors.
Bedroom 5 - En suite shower room.
Ground Floor - Toilet under the stair.
BABY AND TODDLER EQUIPMENT -
Casa Nova Girona is well supplied with baby and toddler equipment - 3 cots, 2 child beds, 1 bed guard, changing mats, potties and step stools in every bathroom, a child toilet seat, bath toys, baby bath, night lights, monitor and stair safety gates.
There are fixed and removeable child safety gates at the top and bottom of both sets of stairs, and a safety gate outside the balcony doors of bedroom 5, top floor.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT -
The house is well supplied with smoke and heat detectors and fire extinguishers. The central heating boiler is housed in a separate building to the main house. The house information book, and each bedroom has a "Fire Escape Plan" with map, doors and escape windows marked and the location of all fire extinguishers.
