Girona is a delightful intimate city with the charming old and Jewish quarters, fabulous Cathedral, Museums, Arab Baths, food and craft markets, some excellent clothes and jewellery shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and ice cream shops. Take a wander through the streets, cross on one of the many bridges, kiss the Lion's bottom (and you will return!), walk the city wall, take the tourist train .... then flop at one of the many excellent al fresco restaurants or bars and savour the atmosphere and people watch. www.girona.cat www.costabrava.org
